Movement of citizens and traffic restricted in Namangan from April 13
From 06:00 of April 13, in the city of Namangan and the Uchkurgan district, a temporary ban on the movement of vehicles and citizens has been introduced, the press service of the regional khokimiyat reported.
The quarantine measures, introduced in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, are being tightened in the city of Namangan and the Uchkurgan district.
“From 06:00 of April 13, 2020, in the city of Namangan, Uchkurgan district, as well as in the area of the Kayki village, the movement of vehicles and the movement of citizens is completely limited. This restriction was adopted by the Special Regional Commission to prepare a set of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection”, the statement reads.
This restriction does not apply to employees and trucks (Damas, Van or Labo) of the following sectors:
- industrial enterprises;
- enterprises for the production and sale (or outsourcing) of pharmaceutical and food products;
- exporting enterprises;
- agricultural enterprises.
It is noted that in this period, citizens, as an exception, are allowed to go to food stores and pharmacies within a radius of 100 meters from their place of residence once a day.
Citizens, who violate these requirements, may be held liable in accordance with the law.
