The staff member answered a question about the closure of the city center due to the detection of the virus in the polyclinic employee.
“According to the chief physician of the Tashkent regional branch of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Wellbeing, on April 22, in the urology department of the Yangiyul district multidisciplinary central polyclinic a midwife tested positive for COVID-19.
In compliance with the established order, 198 employees of the polyclinic and those who were in contact with them were placed in the quarantine camp in Urtachirchik for further medical check.
Reports, which state that the center of Yangiyul was closed due to the virus, the clinic was quarantined along with doctors and patients, are unfounded,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted Khabibulla Oqilov as saying.
