Woman and a 2-year-old boy killed in car accident in Samarkand
A woman and a child died in a car accident in the Samarkand region. According to the press service of the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a VAZ-2106 car collided with a GAZ-5327 truck.

The accident occurred at about 19:30 on May 4. The driver of the VAZ-2106, 27-year-old F.R., while driving intoxicated, collided with a GAZ-5327 truck on the A-377 highway.
As a result of the collision, the passengers of the truck (spouse and son of the driver), 22-year-old D.S. and two-year-old A.N., sustained serious bodily injuries and died on the spot.
On this fact, the Investigative Department of the Samarkand region DIA filed a criminal charge under Article 266, part 3, paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code.
