Delegation of Uzbekistan led by presidential adviser sent to the flood-affected region of Kazakhstan
Uzbekistan has sent 209 personnel, 169 agricultural, engineering and fire-fighting equipment to Kazakhstan to help deal with the aftermath of the flood.
In order to deal with the consequences of the emergency situation occurred earlier at the Sardoba reservoir, Syrdarya region, a delegation led by the presidential adviser Tursinkhan Khudaybergenov visited the affected areas of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Here, the consequences of the emergency situation caused by the flood were once again studied and the necessary measures were identified.
Additional forces and equipment from Uzbekistan, consisting of 209 personnel, 169 agricultural, engineering and fire-fighting equipment, arrived in the region to deal with the consequences of the emergency.
Currently, the emergency response is being carried out in an organized manner.
