More than 1.6 thousand citizens were returned home from Russia over a week
From May 30 to June 6, 1,642 citizens of Uzbekistan were brought back home from the Russian Federation, the Embassy in Moscow said.
In total, five charter flights were organized:
- On June 2 (Moscow – Tashkent flight) - 276 people;
- On June 3 (Moscow – Tashkent flight) - 254 people;
- On June 4 (St. Petersburg – Tashkent flight) - 277 people;
- On June 5 (Moscow – Tashkent flight) - 275 people;
- On June 6 (Novosibirsk – Tashkent flight) - 193 people.
On these flights, mostly senior citizens, persons with health problems, small children, pregnant women were returned.
In addition, together with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Nur-Sultan and the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau, 367 Uzbek citizens who were in the Samara region were returned to their homeland through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
