President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow

Russia says Uzbekistan has confirmed its participation in the Victory Parade.

Representatives of Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Croatia have confirmed their participation in the Victory Parade, RIA Novosti reports citing Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

“Work is now underway. We ... have received confirmation from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Croatia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia,” Peskov said.

He also noted that a number of leaders received an invitation, Russia is expecting confirmation from them “any time these days”.
