President Mirziyoyev sends greetings to Rodrigo Duterte on Independence Day

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has congratulated President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte on the Independence Day.

Independence Day is an annual national holiday in the Philippines observed on June 12, commemorating the declaration of Philippine independence from Spain in 1898.

It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed.
