Usman Sharifkhodjayev appointed First Deputy Minister of Public Education
On June 12, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the appointment of the First Deputy Minister of Public Education, the MPE press service reported.
In accordance with the decree, Usman Sharifkhodjayev was appointed First Deputy Minister of Public Education.
In this regard, Usman Sharifkhodjayev was relieved of his post as head of the education department at the Presidential Administration.
It should be noted that prior to Sharifkhodjayev, this post was held by Alisher Umarov. In February 2020, he was appointed rector of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University.
