Mirziyoyev congratulates Putin on successful holding of All-Russian vote on amendments to Constitution
Today, July 2, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated Putin on the successful holding of an important political event – the All-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the presidential press service reported.
The leaders of the two countries emphasized their commitment to further strengthening Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and alliance as well as building up multifaceted cooperation.
Special attention was paid to issues on the agenda of upcoming visits at the highest level, as well as to the continuation of coordinated measures on reducing the negative impact of the global spread of coronavirus infection on trade-economic relations between the countries.
The amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation were supported by 77.92% of the voters according to CEC data.
