Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Latvia to simultaneously serve as Ambassador to Finland
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan remotely presented his credentials to the President of Finland.
Kadambay Sultanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia, was officially accredited on August 27 as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Finland with residence in the city of Riga, the Dunyo information agency reports.
The ceremony of presenting credentials to the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö and signing a letter recognizing the powers of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Finland was held remotely due to the epidemiological situation throughout Europe.
It should be reminded that Sultanov presented his credentials to the President of Latvia Egils Levits in November 2019. The mission of the Ambassador to Finland will be carried out concurrently.
