Abdulla Aripov arrives in Dushanbe, to meet with President Emomali Rahmon and PM Kokhir Rasulzoda
Today, September 29, Dushanbe is hosting a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Apart from the high-level meeting, a business forum is scheduled between the parties, Asia-Plus reports.
To participate in the events, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov has arrived in Dushanbe today. Deputy Minister of the host country Davlatshoh Gulmakhmadzoda met Aripov at the airport.
It should be noted that within the framework meetings, the Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will discuss the issues of opening borders and resuming air traffic.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, in addition to participating in the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, will visit the Tajik-Uzbek business forum, which will also be held today in Dushanbe. He will hold meetings with the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
