Uzbek-Russian Intergovernmental Commission to hold meeting in Bukhara
The meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia will take place in Bukhara on October 12, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation said.
Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia, will lead the Russian delegation, the Uzbek side will be headed by Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.
A second meeting of the joint commission at the level of the heads of governments is also planned for this year.
It is noted that trade between the countries in the first seven months of 2020 showed a 20 percent increase compared to the same period in 2019, amounting to $3.2 billion.
