Total number of pensioners in Uzbekistan announced
As of October 1, 2020, the total number of pensioners and recipients of allowances registered by the Pension Fund is 3,785,520, the off-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance reported.

By regions, the largest share accounts for the city of Tashkent (13.1%) and Navoi region (12.4%). This figure is 11% and more in Tashkent, Bukhara, Fergana, Syrdarya, Andijan and Khorezm regions. In other regions, it ranges from 9% to 10%.
It should be noted that today the average amount of pensions is 817,457 soums, the average amount of allowances is 463,121 soums.
As of January 1, 1991, there were 2,158,995 pensioners and recipients of allowances.
