Average monthly salary in Uzbekistan announced

The average monthly salary in the education sector amounted to 1.9 million soums, it increased by 10.8% over the same period last year.

In January-September 2020, the average monthly salary of 41.5% of employees of legal entities ranged from 1.3 million to 2 million soums, 17.5% – from 679.3 thousand to 1.3 million soums, 15.4% – from 2 million to 2.7 million soums.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 0.6% of employees, whose wages are less than the minimum payout for labor (679,330 soums), work part-time in enterprises and organizations.

At the same time, in January-September 2020, the maximum average monthly salary in enterprises and organizations amounted to 34.5 million soums.

In January-September 2020, the average monthly wage growth rate was significantly lower than in previous years.

The average monthly salary in the education sector amounted to 1.9 million soums (up by 10.8% over the same period last year), in the field of healthcare and social services – 1.7 million soums (up by 20.0% over the corresponding period of 2019).
