Uzbekistan, Bangladesh set to strengthen trade-economic relations, cooperation in tourism and education
On November 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bangladesh, Mohammad Jahangir Alam.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, the MFA press service informs.
During the conversation, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development were discussed.
It was noted that the Uzbek side attaches particular importance to further strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh in the field of light industry, tourism and education. The parties expressed their readiness to implement specific projects in these areas.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of enhancing bilateral trade and consolidating economic ties. The urgency of increasing volumes and expanding the range of mutual trade was emphasized.
