Uzbekistan and Islamic Centre for Development of Trade aim to implement joint investment projects
On December 16, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held videoconference talks with the Director-General of the OIC Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) Latifa El Bouabdellaoui.
During the talks, it was noted that Uzbekistan is interested in further promoting constructive cooperation with the OIC and its structures, one of which is the ICDT. In this regard, the issues of filling the interaction with practical content and implementation of new joint projects in trade, investment, transport and other spheres were discussed, the MFA press service said.
The leadership of the OIC Trade Centre was pleased to accept the invitation to participate in international industry forums and exhibitions in Uzbekistan in 2021.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
