Abdulaziz Kamilov receives newly appointed Ambassador of Egypt
Today, December 24, Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt Amira Fahmy.
Accepting copies of credentials, Kamilov congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished success in carrying out her responsible diplomatic mission, the MFA press service said.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of the UN, OIC and other international organizations.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for further activation of political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian relations between Uzbekistan and Egypt, as well as on the schedule of the upcoming joint events at various levels.
Other issues of mutual interest were also considered at the meeting.
