Rosselkhoznadzor permits 34 enterprises of Uzbekistan to export tomatoes to the Russian market
From January 1, 2021, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), under the guarantees of the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate of Uzbekistan, is permitting the import of tomatoes to Russia from 34 Uzbek enterprises.
This decision was made on the basis of the information provided by the State Plant Quarantine Inspectorate on the absence of the Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) in the products.
It should be reminded that on December 18, Rosselkhoznadzor permitted three enterprises located in the Fergana region to export tomatoes to Russia as no virus was detected in them during a phytosanitary inspection.
