Alisher Usmanov’s USM Holdings Limited to complete construction of Uzbekistan’s Center for Islamic Civilization in 2021

Russia’s USM Holdings Limited plans to complete the construction of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent by the last quarter of 2021, follows from the Investment Program for 2021-2023.

The total cost of the project is $119 million.

According to the program, the construction work was scheduled for 2019-2021.

In 2017, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Khazrati Imam (Khastimom) complex and got acquainted with the ongoing works at the site. During his visit, the head of state said that Alisher Usmanov was assisting the construction of the center.
