Abdulaziz Kamilov receives Afghanistan FM Mohammad Hanif Atmar
On February 1, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the delegation of Afghanistan led by Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
During the conversation, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development were discussed, the MFA press service reported.
The Afghan Foreign Minister highly appreciated the contribution of Uzbekistan to the restoration of the economic infrastructure of Afghanistan.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the implementation of transport-communication, energy and other infrastructure projects. The parties noted that the only way to establish long-term peace and ensure security in Afghanistan is to hold intra-Afghan political negotiations.
The heads of delegations discussed and agreed on the agenda for upcoming joint events.
