State Testing Center starts hosting TOEFL exams
In the second quarter of 2021, the State Testing Center will organize TOEFL examinations on a contractual basis, officials of the center announced at a press conference.
The State Testing Center organized a press conference to brief about the results of the tests on the foreign language proficiency conducted in 2020-2021.
The head of the Department at STC, Javlonbek Nurmatov, reported that the center will introduce a multilevel foreign language testing system in a new format before the end of 2021.
It will comply with the exams of the international educational system and will have a format that includes B1-B2-C1 levels on the CEFR scale. New criteria will be developed to assess all language skills.
“Starting from the second quarter of 2021, ETS (Educational Testing Service) plans to organize in the State Testing Center international examinations TOEFL ITP, TOEIC, TOEFL IBT on a contractual basis,” Nurmatov informed.
