Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan preparing documents for demarcation of state border sections
On February 24, the joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission held a regular meeting in Tashkent with the participation of government delegations.
The Dunyo IA reports that on 18-24 February the parties continued drafting the final documents on the demarcation of the border between Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan and Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.
“During the meeting, the Commission carried out a field survey of individual sections of the inter-state border,” the statement says.
The next meeting will be held in Kazakhstan and is scheduled for March.
