More than 350 thousand citizens to receive vaccination against COVID-19 on a priority basis in Kashkadarya

The head of the regional center for sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, Tukhtamurod Pakirov, said that 225 mobile teams will be involved in the mass vaccination, which is planned to begin in mid-March.
 
Reportedly, 174 thousand people aged 65 and over, about 41 thousand medical workers, more than 57 thousand schoolteachers, over 11 thousand employees of preschool education institutions and 70 thousand citizens suffering from chronic diseases will be vaccinated on a priority basis.

“The region is ready and equipped with all the necessary vaccine warehouses. Among them, there is 1 national warehouse located in Karshi, and 15 city and regional warehouses. In addition, 38 special refrigerators, 206 thermal bags and thermal containers have been prepared,” Tukhtamurod Pakirov said.

Fifteen mini-trucks and one refrigerated truck will be responsible for the timely delivery of drugs to vaccination points.
