Russian specialists to help with restoring Sardoba Reservoir

Uzbekistan has recruited specialists from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU) for the Sardoba Reservoir Restoration Project, the press service of the Ministry of Construction reports.
The Ministry noted that the study of the current state of the Sardoba Reservoir and its reconstruction is carried out with a help of specialists from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
It was also reported that the project of initial restoration of the reservoir up to 350 million cubic meters of water was developed by Russian experts together with designers of Uzbek JSC “Hydroproject”.
“The state expertise has given a positive expert opinion on this project,” the press service of the Ministry of Construction noted.
It was previously reported that the Government had adopted a decree on the reconstruction of the Sardoba Reservoir.
