Statistics Committee announces the region with highest number of marriages

The State Statistics Committee also announced the number of marriages registered in the last 10 years:

2010 – 292,286;
2011 – 287,793;
2012 – 299,048;
2013 – 304,859;
2014 – 296,055;
2015 – 287,582;
2016 – 275,048;
2017 – 306,197;
2018 – 311,379;
2019 – 310,899;
2020 – 296,750.

In 2020, 141,474 marriages were registered among the urban population and 155,276 – among the rural population.
