Uzbekistan plans to introduce liability for illegal interference in the activities of NGOs
The draft law on amendments to the Administrative Responsibility Code, prepared by the Ministry of Justice, is available for public commenting on the portal for discussing draft-normative legal acts.
The project establishes liability for illegal interference in the activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations.
According to the project, persons who committed an offense may receive a punishment in the form of a fine from 7 to 10 BCAs (from 1.7 million to 2.4 million soums), and in the case of a repeated offense – up to 15 BCAs (up to 3.6 million soums).
