Ministry of Education transfers low occupancy schools to the private sector
The Ministry of Public Education has published the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On regulating the procedure for the transfer of general education schools with a low occupancy rate on the basis of trust management to the private sector” on the regulation.gov.uz website.
In accordance with the draft resolution, the Ministry of Public Education will transfer general education schools with a low occupancy rate to the private sector on the basis of trust management.
By transferring general education schools with low occupancy rates to the private sector, the ministry expects to develop competitiveness among the schools and improve the quality of education.
General education schools with a low occupancy rate are those schools that have the occupancy rate of students less than 0.7 (the ratio of the number of students to school capacity).
