Man with extremist literature detained at Tashkent airport
A man who flew in from St. Petersburg has been detained at the airport in Tashkent. He was carrying extremist materials in his phones, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.
“In the course of a preventive conversation with Kh.F. (born in 2000), who flew in en route St. Petersburg – Tashkent, it was found that during his work in the Russian Federation he fell under the influence of terrorist organizations and supported their ideology,” the report reads.
In the SD card of his Xiaomi and Samsung smartphones, there were materials related to the activities of banned religious organizations. It is noted that he spread them through social networks to his acquaintances.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated against Kh.F. under Part 1, Article 244-1 of the Criminal Code.
