Statistics Committee announces regions with largest number of concluded marriages

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January–March 2021, 59,754 marriages were registered throughout the republic. This is 10,243 more than in the corresponding period of last year.

Here are the numbers by regions for January-March of 2021:

• Republic of Karakalpakstan – 4,178;
• Andijan region – 4,434;
• Bukhara region – 3 894;
• Jizzakh region – 2,388;
• Kashkadarya region – 5,223;
• Navoi region – 1,528;
• Namangan region – 4,190;
• Samarkand region – 6,723;
• Surkhandarya region – 4,893;
• Syrdarya region – 1,536;
• Tashkent region – 5 459;
• Fergana region – 5,900;
• Khorezm region – 4,691;
• Tashkent city – 4,717.
