Gayrat Fozilov appointed deputy FM
Gayrat Fozilov has been appointed Deputy Foreign Minister (FM) for Cooperation with European Countries and Interaction within International Organizations.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree appointing Gayrat Fozilov Deputy Foreign Minister.
He serves as Deputy Minister for Cooperation with European Countries and Interaction within International Organizations.
Gayrat Fozilov graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 1996. In 2012-2015, he was Adviser to the Mission of Uzbekistan to NATO, in 2010-2012 – head of the HR and Educational Institutions Department of the Foreign Ministry.
He served as Deputy FM until 2017, and in 2017 was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Japan.
