Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde
On April 14, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde, who is in Uzbekistan on a working visit.
The parties discussed topical issues of developing constructive interaction between Uzbekistan and the OSCE, further expanding the Uzbek-Swedish practical cooperation.
Mirziyoyev expressed interest in continuing a fruitful dialogue with the Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization.

An agreement was reached to organize a number of joint events in the near future.
Referring to the prospects for bilateral relations with Sweden, the President of Uzbekistan singled out cooperation in the field of education, attracting innovations and investments of leading Swedish companies to our country, building up trade and cooperation ties.
Confidence was expressed that the establishment of a diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Sweden will create broad opportunities for interaction both between the two countries and with the Scandinavian states in general.

Ann Linde expressed her sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and open conversation.
She highly appreciated the democratic transformations, socio-economic reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan and supported the ongoing policy of the country to strengthen good-neighborly relations, trust and partnership in the Central Asian region.
