Dushanbe and Tashkent prepare for Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Tajikistan
The Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will meet in Khojand on April 24 to discuss preparations for the official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Uzbek-Tajik cooperation.

A group of government officials of Uzbekistan visited Dushanbe on April 21, Asia-Plus reported.
“The parties will start preparing draft documents to be signed after the visit of the Uzbek leader to Dushanbe,” the source reports.
The government delegations of the two countries will also discuss the development of trade and economic cooperation between Dushanbe and Tashkent in the near future.
According to the report, Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda and Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov will meet in Khojand on April 24. The issues of preparation for the official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Uzbek-Tajik cooperation are expected to be one of the topics for discussion.
Earlier, it was announced that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Dushanbe on June 10-12 at the invitation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
Previously, Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a visit to Tajikistan in March 2018, in late September 2018 to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe, and on June 14, 2019, to attend the fifth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
