Government agencies no longer require 18 types of documents from population starting June 1

From June 1, government agencies will stop asking for 18 types of documents from the population.

On March 23, the President signed a decree “On additional measures to further create favorable conditions for the population and business entities when using public services, and to reduce bureaucratic barriers in this direction”.

According to the document, starting from June 1, 2021, state bodies, business associations, local executive authorities, state organizations and institutions will cease to demand the following documents from the population and business entities:

- presence or absence in a neuropsychiatric dispensary register;
- presence or absence in a narcological dispensary register;
- presence or absence of a criminal record;
- address-reference information;
- presence or absence of personal housing under the name of a citizen;
- living space area;
- presence or absence of tax arrears;
- registration of an individual – a taxpayer in the state tax authorities;
- amount of the pension and benefits;
- presence or absence in the list of recipients of pensions and benefits;
- registration of marriage, absence of registration of marriage or divorce;
- a copy of the identity document;
- a photograph of a face of the established form;
- certificates of medical-social expert commissions;
- employment record books and their copies (with the exception of cases of reclamation in the process of assigning a pension to citizens in the absence of the possibility of obtaining this document through the interdepartmental hardware and software complex “Unified National Labor System”);
- archival certificates confirming wages and work experience, training in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions (except for cases of reclamation in the process of assigning a pension to citizens in the absence of the possibility of obtaining this document through the interdepartmental hardware and software complex “Unified National Labor System”);
- cadastral documents and their copies.
