Coronavirus: Number of patients in hospitals surpass 3,500

On May 4, 404 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of patients to 92,724.

According to the Ministry of Health, 208 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 6 – in Andijan, 1 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 84 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Fergana, 10 – in Khorezm and 73 – in Tashkent region.

So far, 88,535 people have recovered from the disease in the country. 

Currently, 3,534 patients are being treated in hospitals.
