Shavkat Mirziyoyev talks with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev over the phone

According to the presidential press service, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity and success.

“The great contribution of the leader of Kazakhstan to the strengthening of centuries-old friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries was noted during the conversation. It was emphasized that regular contacts at the highest level contribute to maintaining the high dynamics of multifaceted Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations,” the report says.

In addition, during the talks, topical issues of the bilateral and regional agenda were considered.

“The sides expressed confidence that the practical implementation of the previously reached agreements will serve to further expand cooperation in all priority areas,” the press service concluded.
