Uzbekistan to introduce a package of free medical services
Uzbekistan is planning to introduce a package of free medical services. The President has given relevant instructions to responsible authorities.
According to a Kun.uz correspondent, First Deputy Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov is entrusted with introducing into practice a package of free medical services for the treatment of primary signs of chronic diseases within a month.
“Many say that there is no free medicine in the country. People say the system is corrupt. We allocate funds, but they are not spent properly,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
Uzbekistan will also introduce a new system for the treatment of primary signs of chronic diseases.
In particular, in Syrdarya region, the population will be provided with medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases free of charge.
