Pension Fund reports about innovations in the system
Starting June 1, the Pension Fund is introducing a number of innovations in the system.
According to the press service of the Fund, when assigning a pension, the length of service for the period up to 2005, when the electronic database on wages and seniority was not created, is calculated on the basis of the records on the person’s employment without requesting supporting documents.
Verification and collection of excess payments for appointed, recalculated pensions and benefits for a period of three or more years is also canceled.
Working citizens now can make a monthly payment of social tax from their own income on a voluntary basis in order to receive in the future pension coverage for their non-working spouses.
In addition, pensions and benefits are appointed and paid at the request of the citizen at the place of permanent registration or place of temporary stay.
Also, citizens may apply for pensions and benefits in cashless form when opening bank cards in branches of commercial banks or through mobile applications without contacting the corresponding branch of the Off-Budgetary Pension Fund.
The Fund abolished the obligation of persons receiving non-cash pensions to visit the Pension Fund every six months, as well as the obligation of employees to conduct field monitoring to determine the loss of the pension rights by citizens on the basis of electronic information provided by the relevant ministries and departments.
