Air Astana launching direct flights from Almaty to Samarkand
Kazakhstan’s Air Astana is launching direct regular flights from Almaty to Samarkand, Spot writes with reference to the press service of the company.
The flights will be operated from June 9 on Wednesdays and Sundays on A321 airliner.
On Wednesdays:
- Departure from Almaty to Samarkand at 15:40, arrival – at 16:15;
- Return flight at 17:45, arrival – at 20:20.
On Sundays:
- Departure from Almaty to Samarkand at 11:20, arrival – at 11:55;
- Return flight at 13:25; arrival – at 16:00.
The flight duration is 1 hour 35 minutes.
A round-trip air ticket, including taxes, in economy class costs from 69,481 tenge (about 1.7 million soums), business class – 221,332 tenge (5.4 million soums).
Samarkand will become the second city in Uzbekistan to which Air Astana operates regular flights. The airline has been operating direct flights to Tashkent since 2010.
