China sends another batch of COVID-19 vaccine to Uzbekistan
On June 30, Uzbekistan received another 1 million doses of the Sino-Uzbek vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001, the Minister of Innovative Development Ibrokhim Abdurahmonov writes on his Telegram channel.
According to him, this is the seventh batch. Uzbekistan received the previous 6.5 million doses from March 27 to June 29.
ZF-UZ-VAC2001 is a recombinant vaccine developed by scientists from the Institute of Microbiology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd.
Clinical trials of this drug were carried out in collaboration with Uzbek scientists. Currently, citizens over 18 years of age are being vaccinated with ZF-UZ-VAC2001.
