Uzbekistan and EU exchange views on the situation in Afghanistan

Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held a meeting with Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the next round of the European Union – Central Asia High-level Political and Security Dialogue.

According to the MFA press service, the parties exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan.

The European side highly appreciated the active measures being taken by Uzbekistan to fully support the inter-Afghan peace negotiations and promote the socio-economic development of Afghanistan.
