Uzbekistan boxing team depart for Tokyo Olympics 2020
The boxing team of Uzbekistan has left for Japan to participate in the Olympic Games, the NOC press service reports.
Shakhobiddin Zoirov (52 kg), Miraziz Mirzakhalilov (- 57 kg), Elnur Abduraimov (- 63 kg), Bobousmon Baturov (- 69 kg), Fanat Kakhramonov (- 75 kg), Dilshod Ruzmetov (- 81 kg), Sanjar Tursunov (- 91 kg) and Bakhodir Jalolov (+ 91 kg) will represent Uzbekistan in the men’s boxing.
The women’s team will include Tursunoy Rakhimova (- 51 kg), Raykhon Kodirova (- 60 kg) and Shakhnoza Yunusova (- 69 kg). The head coach is Marat Kurbanov.
Boxing competitions will start on July 24.
