President Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Turkish delegation
On July 16, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu as part of the Tashkent International Conference program.

According to the press service of the head of state, the meeting considered topical issues of Uzbek-Turkish multifaceted relations.
“The President noted that the relations with Turkey was productive and intensive and the regular dialogue of the leaders of the two countries contributes to strengthening ties of friendship and strategic partnership,” the statement said.
The parties discussed the preparation for the second meeting of the high-level Strategic Cooperation Council.
They also considered urgent issues on the regional agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan, and concluded that close cooperation in achieving lasting peace and economic recovery in the country is of utmost importance.
