Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits the plant where Sputnik V and ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccines to be produced

On July 29, in Almalyk, the President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activities of the JV Jurabek laboratories.

The enterprise is capable of producing 48 million vials of infusion solutions, 480 million ampoules, 60 million dry antibiotics, 20 million lyophilized drugs, the press service of the head of state reported.

The GLP laboratory operates here, the international GMP standard has been introduced. The company has registered more than 300 products. It exports to more than 15 countries.

Also, drugs that are in demand in the current pandemic conditions such as remdesivir, favipiravir, heparin, enoxaparin are produced.

The implementation of a new biotechnological project worth $30 million has begun, aimed at organizing the production of drugs in the form of monoclonal antibodies.

It is planned to establish the production of a vaccine against coronavirus. The head of state got acquainted with the necessary technical capabilities of the enterprise.
