Regions with fastest growth in the number of coronavirus patients announced
The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has published statistics on COVID-19.
According to the press service of the Health Ministry, on August 3, 923 people tested positive for coronavirus in the republic.
The total number of registered cases was 132,901.
Reportedly, on August 3, 127 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 95 – in Karakalpakstan, 41 – in Andijan, 19 – in Bukhara, 99 – in Jizzakh, 19 – in Kashkadarya, 15 – in Navoi, 39 – in Namangan, 95 – in Samarkand, 23 – in Syrdarya, 105 – in Surkhandarya, 91 – in Fergana, 47 – in Khorezm and 108 – in Tashkent region.
If we pay attention to the daily statistics of the Health Ministry, it can be seen that the largest number of COVID-19 patients are regularly detected in the capital, as well as in Jizzakh, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Fergana and Tashkent regions.
A kind of stability in terms of indicators is observed in Navoi and Bukhara regions.
The total number of people recovered from coronavirus in the country has reached 126,377, or 95% of the active cases.
Also, 8 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll stands at 901.
