Statistics Committee provides data on the number of vehicles owned by the population
The population owns 2.8 million cars, the State Statistics Committee says in a statement

As of January 1, 2021, the number of vehicles owned by individuals in Uzbekistan was 2,955,295 units. This is 14.5 percent more than the corresponding period of 2020.
According to the State Statistics Committee, of that 2.8 million:
- 2,767,126 are passenger cars;
- 168,810 – trucks;
- 5,711 – buses;
- 8,518 – minibusses;
- 5,130 – special vehicles.
