Paralympians of Uzbekistan depart for Tokyo

From August 24 to September 5 this year, the XVI Summer Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo. On August 20, the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan hosted a solemn ceremony before the departure of our Paralympians to the capital of Japan.

The ceremony was opened by the Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva. She wished good luck to the para-athletes at the XVI Summer Paralympic Games, urged them to return to our country with bright victories, to use all their opportunities.

After that Tanzila Narbayeva and Aziz Abdukhakimov solemnly handed over the state flag to the chairman of the National Paralympic Committee Mukhtorkhon Tashkhodjaev. Then the anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played.
