Number of personnel to be reduced in state institutions
In Uzbekistan, in the next five years, an increase in the number of staff in state institutions will not be allowed.
This was stated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the congress of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.
“In the next five years, there will be no increase in the number of staff in government agencies. There will be digitalization, some functions will be transferred to the private sector, the number of staff in government institutions will be reduced. We will review the activities of some ministries, offices, business associations and local authorities,” he said.
As it became known, Uzbekistan plans to introduce modern types of public services.
In particular, e-government services will reach 100%. In addition, 100 types of public services will be transferred to the private sector.
