Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Vladimir Putin discuss situation in Afghanistan

On September 14, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

According to the presidential press service, the sides discussed issues of further strengthening multifaceted cooperation and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.

It was noted that in view of the current situation in Afghanistan, the sides exchanged views on issues on the regional agenda.

The Presidents also reviewed plans for future summits.
