It was noted that a delegation led by Russian Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Andrey Pudov arrived in Uzbekistan on September 10.

Discussions were held with the participation of officials of relevant ministries and departments of the two countries on issues related to the organized employment of citizens, protection of the health of migrant workers, the competence of law enforcement agencies. Until now, citizens traveling to work in the Russian Federation were required to undergo 5 types of medical examinations in that country and enter a fingerprint into the internal affairs database for up to 1 month. as part of a pilot project to attract citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation to work in the construction industry, 10,000 migrant workers will soon be recruited from Uzbekistan to Russia on a simplified basis. The costs of recruiting candidates, including medical examinations, vaccinations, exams in Russian language, Russian history and legislation, patenting, and transportation, are expected to be covered by employers;

vaccination and coronavirus testing of citizens wishing to work in the territory of the Russian Federation will be carried out jointly by specialists of the two countries in Uzbekistan with the use of Russian medical equipment and their results will be integrated into the “Travel without COVID-19” application system;

it was agreed that the dactyloscopic registration and recording processes required for obtaining a patent for citizens wishing to work in the territory of the Russian Federation will be carried out in Uzbekistan by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries with the help of Russian equipment.
