“Rule of law prevails in Uzbekistan” – President
During a meeting with voters in Namangan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev also touched upon the situation on the border with Afghanistan.
“The situation in Afghanistan should be a lesson to all of us. The situation at the border is in the center of our attention every day. We will not allow anyone to encroach on our borders. Because in Uzbekistan, the rule of law prevails, punishment is inevitable.
Recently, a drug trafficker tried to illegally cross the state border. But we are firm on the issue of inviolability, and if necessary, we will use weapons to protect our borders.
One of our soldiers, who performed his duty with honor in the above situation, died heroically. He was from Namangan,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev told the audience.
